Privacy policy.
There is no account here. A wallet address is the only identity this interface reads.
1. No account
Polybons has no sign up, no password and no profile. Connecting a wallet exposes a public address to the page and nothing else.
2. What is collected
- Public wallet address, to hold the paper balances, the positions and the 30 day volume that sets a tier.
- The signature on each bet, the message it signed and the nonce, so a bet cannot be replayed or forged.
- Standard server request logs, including IP address, user agent and timestamp, kept for security and abuse handling.
- Local browser storage for the connected address, so the page can read the right wallet on the next visit.
3. The X intake
Posts that mention the account are read through the X API. Only public posts are read. From a post that parses, Polybons stores the question text, the close date, the category, any coin address, the post identifier and the poster's handle, which is stored as the creator of the book and shown on the book page.
Nothing private is requested from X, no direct messages are read, and no follower graph is stored. Posting a question in public is the act that publishes it here.
4. What is never collected
- Private keys, seed phrases or signatures beyond what a user approves in their wallet.
- Name, email, phone number, address or government identifier.
- Payment card or bank data.
5. What the chain makes public
Anything settled on chain 4663 is public and permanent. Anyone can read it on robinscan.io without asking this site. That record cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including Polybons. Season 0 runs off chain on paper balances, so a Season 0 fill is a record held by Polybons, not by the chain.
6. Third parties
Fonts and icons load from public content networks, which receive the request. A wallet extension is operated by its own vendor under its own policy. A public RPC endpoint sees the address that queries it. The X API is operated by X under its own terms. Read those policies separately.
7. Analytics and tracking
No advertising pixels and no cross site tracking run on this site. If a privacy respecting analytics tool is added later, it will be named on this page before it is switched on.
8. Retention
Server logs are held for a short operational window and then discarded. Wallet state is held for as long as the season runs. Address association held in the browser ends when the browser data is cleared.
9. Deletion requests
Off chain records tied to an address or to a handle can be removed on request through the contact channel on X. A book that is removed leaves the dashboard. On chain records cannot be removed by anyone.
10. Children
This interface is not for anyone under the legal age in their jurisdiction, and data is not knowingly collected from them.
11. Changes
This policy can change. The date below marks the current version.
